4:00 – 4:20 pm – The Crayons sound check

4:30 – 6:00 pm – Jeff Porter -- Kansas City musician Jeff Porter is known for his work with S.D.I. and the Grammy-nominated Blue Riddim Band. His music on his latest release, 15 Miles, ambles past those reggae roots and heads straight across the Midwest singer/songwriter genre like a Pony Express rider with a parcel of hot songs. His voice has a warm timbre, perfect for expressing humor or heartache on these homespun songs punched up with percussion, piano, and strings.

6:15 – 9:00 pm – The Crayons --The three founding members of Liverpool "A Tribute to The Beatles" (Steve Davis, Larry Kips, Gary Butler along with Gary Charlson) have reformed The Crayons.  The Crayons were known as one of the most popular and requested bands during the heyday's of Westport.  These original members are known for their tight vocal harmonies and their ability to recreate the authentic sounds required for the best music decade ever.  Rickenbacker 12 string guitars to Tonebender Fuzztones, this is the most accurate recreation of 60's and 70's music in the Kansas City area.  Songs from The Byrds, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, The Searchers, The Zombies, The Monkees, CCR, Badfinger plus much more.

2:00 -- 3:30 -- EdgeTown (Donna Hensley and Dennis Laffoon)

Dennis Laffoon, keyboardist, vocalist and recording artist with over 40 years of experience, heard and known around the world with his versatile and unique style of playing keyboards. Recently inducted to the Kansas Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Has performed with Heart, Journey, REO, Night Ranger, Kansas to name a few. Featured member with Shooting Star.

Donna Hensley, vocalist/songwriter. Started performing at a young age, Singing in church choirs and receiving #1 ratings in State Vocal Competitions gave her a foundation in music that has expanded to local and regional stages.

Donna has performed with Moe Bandy, Hank Thompson, Johnny Duncan, Hank Williams III to name a few. Voted the “Best Female Vocalist” by CCMN in 95. Donna recorded in Nashville and released her first single that hit the charts in Australia.

Their new group “EdgeTown” ties rock with country, and country with soul, with an edge to everything they do and a heart with every note they sing. They bring emotion to the stage and imagination to the mind.

4:00 – 6:00 pm – Rick Bacus Trio -- with Rick Bacus and Ron Still.  Over the years, Rick Bacus has performed with some of the Midwest's most popular rock, pop, blues and jazz bands including Stone Wall, Morningstar, The Janet Jameson Band, Poppin' Fresh, Tim Whitmer's KC Express and many others. A year ago, Rick teamed up with John Anderson / Bass currently with Rock Paper Scissors and Ron Still on drums from the Janet Jameson Band and Poppin' Fresh days. The Rick Bacus Trio brings you a healthy dose of Classic songs from Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ray Charles, Bill Withers, John Mayer, Jimi Hendrix, Bonnie Raitt and other great gems delivered with all the passion they deserve.
